Sorry girls, I have a lot going on right now with school, wedding planning, and getting ready to move. I am still working out regularly, but I do not have the time to blog. I hope to be able to get back to it after finals and the move mid-March! Keep up the good work ladies.

I went to the apartment complex gym for a run after school today and I was feeling a great! I ran a 15:45 mile (my personal best is 15:30) and had to cut it short because the fat guy next to me on the elliptical was telling me how to run and wouldn't shut up. I really hate when people tell you how to do something when it is OBVIOUS you know how to do it. I mean, come on! How many people don't know how to RUN. You know you just move your legs like you're walking, but faster...

Seriously...

We got snow yesterday so I didn't shred. I instead spent 2 hours playing in the snow with my dog and doing some crunches in the evening.

I did shred today and I tried level 2! Some places seem easier, but some are much harder! It doesn't help that when I have to move 2 body parts at the same time (like a leg and arms) I get a little mixed up!

All in all, a great shred!

My shoulder bothered me a lot longer than I expected it to! I'm currently at school, but I will be back to the shred when I get home.

I went and tried my dress on last night for the first time since April. It fits, but boy is it tight! I need to lose a couple inches ASAP! Time for me to kick into hyperdrive. I'm even going to start tracking calories again to get back on track and kick some ass.

I will update when I finish my workout.

Update:
Half a week off of the Shred takes its toll! It was once again a challenge! Though, I am thinking it might get easier quicker this week than last week. We shall see!

I didn't shred yesterday.  I am just not going to shred on Sundays because they are just so busy. Of course, days I don't shred, I don't count.

Last night, I managed to pull something in my shoulder so that means I cannot do a full shred until it is better! I did some cardio and abs. I did a full 20 minutes still but it was more abs and more cardio to replace the strength. It was still invigorating, but not a shred. Hopefully after a warm shower and some Icy Hot I will be good as new tomorrow for day 7 of the Shred.

I must not have slept well last night because I didn't do as well today as I did yesterday. I did manage to do 20 push ups, but I took a short breath (maybe 2 seconds) between each 10.  I needed more short breathers in general today. It was a little disheartening, but today's measurements picked me up!

My biceps are up 1/4", thighs are up 1/4". my waist is down 2 1/4" and I am adding my hips into the mix. They are at 43 3/4".
I have also decided not to fixate my my weight at this point in time. I still want to get down to the 140s, but right now more than anything, I just want to lose some inches, which I am already doing.

I still plan to move on to level 2 on day 11, 4 more days to kick some ass!

Today was invigorating. I really pushed myself. I managed to do 19 girly push ups without stopping.

When I woke up this morning, I wasn't sore at all. It was really great! I think I'll be ready to move on to level 2 soon! I look forward to seeing what that has in store!

Oh my God my stamina has already doubled! I did 10 girly push ups, took 2 seconds to breathe and then did 7 more. Yesterday I had to stop after 5 or 6! Let's not forget those anterior raises with side lunges that were killing me. I did the whole 30 seconds BOTH TIMES without a breather! By the end of the second set when she says "just five more" I was almost screaming as I counted down those last 5!

I feel incredibly strong. Even when I was 145 lbs in high school, I was nowhere near able to do 10 girly push ups in a row! I'm already in the best shape of my life muscle-wise and it has only been 4 days!

Day 3 wasn't easier than day 2.  Those push ups and the dumbbell raises with the side lunges are KILLING ME!!!  I find that those are the only times I take a break. Once or twice in each set of push ups and raises with lunges.

My calves are still on fire from yesterday. I can really feel it.  After the workout yesterday I could barely sit and stand because my muscles in my legs were so sore.  I look forward to my arm strength catching up with my leg strength!

I have successfully completed day 2. My knee didn't hurt nearly as bad, but I could feel it in my muscles still from yesterday. My legs felt like Jell-O so I even had to take the elevator to my classes on the 2nd floor!

Instead of buying a brace, I bought some IcyHot. I can already feel it working after my workout.

Day 2 was easier than day 1, but I still had to do it the beginner style. My biggest struggle was the push ups.  Of course, I've always sucked at push ups.

I'm adding a goal! I want to be able to do 15 REAL push ups by the end of the 30DS.
